How you can help us to access RAAF records

pacificvictoryroll.com started on December 7 2011 on the 70th anniversary of the commencement of the second world war in the Pacific. My aim was to publish the most complete list of RAAF Pacific aerial victory claims on the Internet, and just as importantly to provide short biographies for every known pilot who claimed. For the better known pilots this is not a hard task but for others I must rely on service records & related reports purchased from the Australian Archives. These records are then digitised and displayed on the Australian Archives website for all to see. Currently individual service records cost around AU$20 to purchase.

Help me complete this task by donating to digitise these records. All digitised records will be listed on this website and linked directly to the particular Australian Archive record. More widely the site would like to digitise other important RAAF documents such as casualty reports, and Combat Fighter Reports, making pacificvictoryroll.com your starting point for research into RAAF aerial combat.

How you can help pacificvictoryroll.com

You may also like to contribute to the running costs of this website. pacificvictoryroll.com is a not for profit site. It is my hobby and passion. However I do not have bottomless pockets.  Some of my costs are included below.

·         ISP annual charges.

·         Domain name registration.

·         Software & hardware updates.

·         Purchase of books & other research material.

·         Purchase of unpublished photos. All of these will be displayed on the website.

All funds raised will be directed back into the website.

Thanks for visiting.
